Video: "The Work is Within You"

Russ Goddard:

Hi,

Hey Jon, thanks a lot for providing a transcript of the video! I'm sorry I haven't replied. Life got in the way temporarily, and I haven't checked this blog for a little while.

Take care,
Russ

Gwenn Bair:

Katie speaks of collapsing time through the work. (isn't that an awesome concept?) I'm not totally sure what she means, but my experience is that the process of healing and understanding is so speedy with the work. I'm reminded of that when I see how quickly the request/need of the man above who is hard of hearing is resolved. I thought that was a sweet solution. Thank you.

Jon Willis:

Hi Russ,

Rather than wait for an answer from you, I thought I'd just go ahead and write this video out anyway - might be useful for others as well.

With love,

Jon

BK: And when you are turning these things around, things like "He's a terrible person", turned around "I'm a terrible person" and then turn it around again "I'm a wonderful person" and then find, you know, at least 3 examples of where you've been kind to your husband, you know, where you're really dear and good and sweet, you know, find those moments and own them, come out of denial.

Owning all the beautiful parts of you, you know, that's where so many of us just deny it, but the reality is you're good and there's nothing you can do about it, and every thought that opposes that feels like stress and that let's you, I say feelings are like the little temple bell that says "Sweetheart, it's time to question what you believe about the world", because the world is right.

There's nothing off in the world.

And I invite you not to believe me, please I invite you to test it for yourself. You're the test, you're the litmus test.

So I invite you to the Work and you know the Work has no power, it's 4 questions and, as you answers the questions you tap into the power and it's within you.

And no-one holds more wisdom than another. Wisdom is equal. And there's no-one that cannot answer these questions.

Sometimes, you know, we're not always willing. But we can begin again. When things get rough it's amazing how willing we become.

And then the Work, it's a lot of fun to do just for the fun of it, you know, those of that you that like to get high, try THIS.

Jon Willis:

Hi Russ,

I'd be happy to help produce transcripts of some of the videos for you if they are not already available.

Perhaps we can start by you letting me know which ones you want transcripts for and build it bit-by-bit.

My email address is jon (at) jonwillis.com .

With love,

Jon

Brian:

Hi Russ - I think this is a great idea! You'd probably be best to email one of Katie's staff at thework.com website - I'm sure they'd be really interested in your idea. Try info@thework.com and customerservice@thework.com

Russ Goddard:

Hi,

Is it possible to add captions or provide a transcript of this and other videos? I ask because I am a hard of hearing individual and I have difficulty following spoken dialogue on un-captioned video clips.

Other than that, I enjoy exploring your blog and thework.org! It is slowly making a difference in my life!

Take care,
Russ
