I look up, I see Stephen walking into the room with a copy of his new book under his arm. He's happy like a child, delighted with what he sees as the book's production values, what it looks like, how it feels. We sit down together and he reads to me from it.
His beautiful, kind voice sends me to sleep almost instantly.
When I wake, fifteen minutes later, Stephen is still reading.

This scene is so beautiful. My partner used to read poetry to me, and every time I would fall almost immediately very peacefully asleep. He always took it gracefully, as a compliment. So precious.
Love to you, Sylvia

hi Katie,
sorry for posting a totally unrelated comment, but I'd just like to thank you for changing my life.
Using the Work, I got rid of my body dysmorphic disorder in approximately 4 hours time. I just stood in front of a mirror, systematically looked at all my facial features, and wrote down every negative thought about them.
Then I did the work on those thoughts.
From that moment on, I've rarely had any negative thought about my appearance, even when I was feeling socially anxious for other reasons.
